I am so proud of the Year 7 students yesterday. With the horrid weather in the morning we had a change of plans so that they wouldn’t have to stand outside and they handled this last minute change brilliantly.
Their behaviour in assembly was outstanding and the feedback I got from the teachers was wonderful. The first day in High School can be very daunting but all Year 7 students took it in their stride and showed real independence and maturity.
I understand that some parents may not yet be receiving messages via text and I apologise for this delay. We are aware of this and are working to rectify this as soon as possible.
Some students went to get lunch from the canteen yesterday but did not have any money in their accounts. Can you make sure that you have credited your child’s account via ParentPay if you want them to purchase food from the canteen. If you have any problems with this please contact me.
The school photographer will be in on Wednesday to take the Year 7 photographs. A copy of the timings for this can be found here and students will be told more about the arrangements during form time.
Our Y7 transition trip to Tynny is coming up and pupils will be going on the following dates:
- DUNHAM – Monday 23rd September to Wednesday 25th September
- WALTON – Monday 30th September to Wednesday 2nd October
- ARLEY – Monday 7th October to Wednesday 9th October
- TATTON – Monday 14th October to Wednesday 16th October
- MORETON – Monday 21st October to the 23rd October

Again a huge well done to all Year 7’s on their fantastc first day at Lymm.
