GCSE results in 2015 were very pleasing, with the school achieving well above national averages on all the key measures and students making very good progress during their time here. Results in the traditional academic subjects were especially strong, reflected in our exceptional number of 56% of students gaining the “Ebacc”.
A hugely impressive 31% of our students gained 5 or more A*-A grades, with 31% of all GCSE grades awarded being at A*-A. Almost 60% of our students gained at least one A*-A grade, with the following deserving a special mention for achieving at least 8 A* grades:

Subject Breakdown
The table below details performance in the various GCSE subjects we offer at Lymm High School. One of the reasons we are proud of our results is that we expect all of our students to study a curriculum that encompasses challenging academic subjects; we do not discourage students from entering ‘harder’ subjects in order that our headline results might look even stronger.
