KS3 Mathematics

Overview

Year 7 and 8 students follow schemes of learning based around the revised national curriculum.  Activities that promote mathematical thinking and opportunities for developing problem solving skills have been built in to the schemes.  Year 7 are initially taught in tutor groups and are then set by end of the first half term based on their end of KS2 assessments and baseline assessments.
