The Lymm Learners KS5

Supporting Independent Study: Master your KS5 courses.

To succeeds in sixth form, it’s really important to make the most of your independent study time. Working towards a 40-hour study week helps you stay organised and develop strong time management skills, which are key not just for your exams but for life beyond school. Using your SSP (Supervised Study Periods) and non-contact time wisely means you can focus on consolidating your knowledge, revising, completing work/coursework, and getting to seek additional support and help when you need it. By managing your time well and staying focused, you’ll give yourself the best chance to achieve great results and reach your goals.

At Lymm High Sixth Form, we’re here to support you, offering resources that foster a positive approach, strengthen your skills, and help you achieve your goals.

This page is packed with helpful tools specifically for A-Level and BTEC students, including specific subject related resources including study booklets, videos, useful links and our Core Four revision strategies. You’ll also find downloadable templates to help you organise your time and make each study session count.

A 'Lymm Learner' is an independent student who takes responsibility for their learning, remains motivated by their progress, asks insightful questions, challenges assumptions, thinks critically, and views failure as an opportunity for growth.’
