This morning I received a printout of all payments and forms returned so far given that the deadline was Friday. Unfortunately at the moment we’re only going to have 123 students able to attend the prom because they have paid and returned all necessary forms!
There are a number of students who have paid, but not returned the forms. Similarly there are some that have returned forms but not paid.
It is essential these are returned to the school shop within the next couple of days because I need to confirm with the hotel numbers on Thursday (1 week before).

And here is a link for the medical form…
On Friday 23rd June, we will be supporting the campaign ‘Help Rowan Run’ through the registered charity, Tree of Hope (charity number 1149254) by holding a non-uniform day. Please click here for more details.
We are looking for help from our parents with regards to possible prize donations for the school fete raffle on 15th July. Does anyone have any potential contacts we could use either through their workplace or personal? Any help/advice is very much appreciated as all funds raised will be put towards the refurbishment of the school changing rooms.
Re: Arrangements for Year 11 Last Day (29th June 2017)
Students should arrive at school at the normal time (8:25am) and go to their form rooms to be registered. Form tutors will then escort the students to the lower hexagon where food and drinks will be available and there will be opportunity for photographs and the traditional ‘shirt signing’. Students will then attend their final formal assembly which will be a celebration of their time here at Lymm. Students need to be in full uniform for this assembly and it is therefore important that students have a second shirt to change into (or just have signatures written onto the 2nd shirt) to wear for this assembly.
At the end of the assembly, wristbands for the prom will be distributed to students who are attending. Students should leave school site after the assembly and those attending the prom can start getting ready!!
Just a few additional points…
- Prom wristbands will need to be worn to gain access to the prom.
- Reminder that deadline for prom payments is Friday 16th June (The hotel need numbers confirmed by that date). Also, medical forms need to have been handed in by this date.
- Finally, just to reiterate that high standards of conduct and behaviour are expected at all times and any student not meeting expectations may be refused entry to the prom. I’m sure that this will not be necessary and everyone has a great time at the end of what has probably been one of the most demanding times in their education so far.
Good luck to all in the remaining exams.
