Year 10

KS4 students follow the Edexecel History course. Students study a thematic study of Crime and Punishment with an historic environmental study of Whitechapel then a British Depth study of Elizabeth in Year 10 and a period study on Super Power Relations, 1941-91.

Year 11

Finally, students complete a depth study of Weimar and Nazi Germany 1918-39.

Homework: In History, students are set a variety of tasks for homework. These might include: report writing; information leaflets; model building; historical research into specific topics; source analysis; past paper exam questions; reading; watching a specific documentary; paragraphing.
