Governors

Every school has a governing body to represent the public in the running of the school. School governors bring perspectives from ordinary life and work with the staff and the Local Education Authority (LEA) to help secure the best possible education for the children in the school.

Lymm High School has a governing body made up of 21 governors. You can find out more about the role and function of the governing body, and its legal and statutory responsibilities. We also provide a list of the current governors with names, brief biographies, details of their responsibilities and contact information.

If you are interested in becoming a governor we have information about what the role entails, and you are welcome to contact the Chair of Governors for an informal discussion.

Because of its long history, Lymm High School has a charitable foundation, the Lymm Grammar School Trust which appoints a number of the governors, and more information about the trust and its work is available.
