A Career in Art and Design online event – Wednesday 18th May, 5-6pm

Students considering studying an Art or Design degree will benefit from this online event, which will provide an opportunity to hear first-hand how the University of Sunderland prepares students for industry and the diverse and exciting range of careers available within the creative sector. This careers panel, part of the ‘Creativity pays’ series, celebrates the range of careers available within the Creative Industries. Each panel will ‘spotlight’ on a specific field of the creative industry including:

  • Art and Design
  • Journalism
  • Media
  • Performance

During this live online talk, aimed at Year 12 and 13, students will hear from a number of recent graduates who have progressed onto successful careers in the industry. They will also hear from current students about how they are building their professional experience now.  The panel line up includes Gareth Davies – Founder of design and innovation collective Acid Works, as well as trainees and students from Medical Photography, Teaching and freelance illustrating and Fashion, Design and Promotion.

The Student Recruitment team will also be on hand to answer queries.

Uniform Recycling

If you have any school uniform (lower school, Sixth Form or PE kit) that you no longer need, please consider donating these items to school so they can be shared with those who need it. If possible, please wash items before donating.
